Key concepts
A compact reference for the vocabulary used across these docs.
Indices
A product index is a diversified basket of yield pools managed as one unit. YLDX runs four: Stable, Coin, DEX and RWA. Each holds ≥ 40 pools and caps any single position at ≤ 2.5% of capital. See The four indices.
Composite score
Every candidate pool is ranked by a single composite score:
score = 0.30\,(yield) + 0.30\,(7d momentum) + 0.20\,(low-IL) + 0.20\,(TVL)
The highest-scored pools form the deployment set; the lowest-scored are the exit set. See Pool scoring.
3-corridor concentrated liquidity
On the RWA Index, liquidity is split across three adaptive bands:
- Core ±10% — 50% of capital (protection / stability)
- Working ±5% — 30% (primary yield)
- Tactical ±2.5% — 20% (high fee efficiency)
Bands are auto-rebalanced by volatility regime. See RWA Index.
Money-flow layers (L1→L4)
- L1 Entry — client on-ramp wallets
- L2 Bridge/CEX — centralized routing layer (Binance/Bybit under Moonrock Capital)
- L3 Strategy — the working pools/LP positions
- L4 Cold — sector multisig vaults (final custody)
Deposits move forward; withdrawals retrace the path. See Money flow.
YLDX & SYLDX
- YLDX — the governance/utility token (ERC-20, 1B max supply, minted at TGE).
- SYLDX — Staked YLDX, an auto-staked receipt issued to round participants, redeemable 1:1 for YLDX at listing.
See Smart contracts and Staking & SYLDX.
Performance fee → holders
A 25% performance fee on client profit is routed 100% to YLDX holders: 90% as cash dividends, 10% as buy-back into the Governance Treasury. See Rewards.
Multisig custody
The cold treasury is 5 sector-based multisig vaults, each requiring 4-of-6 signatures behind a 24-hour time-lock, with 6 designated signers. See Custody.
AI Operator vs human operator
The AI Operator (yldx-operator) produces decisions (scoring, signals, corridor and rebalance recommendations) but never holds keys. A human operator executes; multisig signers authorize fund movements. No single actor can move funds alone. See Security model.
Public vs Live mode
The console runs in two modes:
- Public — demo data for presentation.
- Live — real on-chain reads; a client is a unique address with a real deposit (spam/poisoning filtered).
See Live mode & data.
